Calibration
Each Frogwatch Meter is delivered with a digital calibration certificate that can be easily accessed via the Dashboard.
The calibration is performed in all three measurement directions (x,y,z) and for each axis at two different frequencies and amplitudes. During the calibration, nothing is adjusted (this is called justification) and only the deviation from the reference sensor of the calibration laboratory is determined. This deviation is then recorded on the certificate. Subsequently, it can be determined whether this deviation still meets the requirements of the relevant guidelines, such as the SBR.
Vibration meters must be calibrated every 2 years according to the Dutch SBR guidelines to ensure that the equipment still meets the requirements.
