Frogwatch is dedicated to delivering a seamless monitoring experience for structural and environmental challenges. Our platform is built around flexibility, reliability, and ease of use: Empowering you to monitor what matters, when it matters.
Integrating vibration, noise, tilt, fissure/crack monitoring, and more in one platform.
Receive instant SMS or email notifications, analyze the data in the interactive dashboard, and export reports with ease.
At Frogwatch, simplicity is key. Our measurement devices are intentionally designed to be as straightforward as possible: just mount, insert the battery, and you're ready to go. There's no need for on-site supervision. Alerts are sent instantly, and all data is available in your personal dashboard. That's why our meters have no display or always-on LEDs: most of the time, no one is watching! Instead, we focus on efficiency: Frogwatch Vibration Sensor can measure for over 2.5 months on a single battery charge.
Why do we use a frog as our symbol? In the year 132, long before Europe developed vibration measurement instruments, the Chinese inventor Zhang Heng created the first seismograph. His artistic copper device featured eight dragon heads, each holding a copper ball. Below, eight frogs waited with open mouths to catch the balls when a vibration occurred. By the sound and position of the fallen ball, Zhang Heng could even determine the direction of an earthquake. Today, the frog and ball from Zhang Heng's invention are reflected in our logo. A tribute to a pioneer in vibration monitoring.
